ALASKA

Discover the beauty of The Last Frontier. Visit Denali National Park, pan for gold and meet some real Iditarod sled dogs. You’ll also walk, bike and kayak through some of the most stunning terrain in the world as you create a lifetime of memories on this unforgettable adventure.

 

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrive in Anchorage and spend time exploring on your own before a welcome dinner of fresh Alaskan seafood and local brews.

DAY 2

Learn about and celebrate Alaska’s heritage of through an indigenous village tour. Bike and kayak to your private BBQ on the shores of Eklutna Lake.

DAY 3

Enjoy lunch with 360 degree views from your train to Denali Park. Kids complete the Junior Ranger activities and be sworn in as Junior Rangers when you arrive!

DAY 4

Spend the day on an adventure of your choice: brave class III & IV rapids or take a leisurely float down the Nenana River through Denali, or take a guided hop-on-hop-off tour to enjoy the park and scout for wildlife.

DAY 5

After lunch at a local family-owned favorite, visit an Iditarod kennel and meet the racing dogs and this season’s newest puppies. End the day with dinner in a historic mining town.

DAY 6

Learn authentic techniques used in the Alaskan Gold Rush and try your hand at panning for gold. Hop on a raft to experience the glaciers of Spencer Lake at arm’s reach on your way to a tasty salmon bake.

DAY 7

Visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and get up close and personal with bears, moose and bison. Spend the afternoon take a hike to Byron Glacier. Tonight’s farewell dinner showcases a performance of traditional dancers and rhythmic drummers.

PERU WITH MACHU PICCHU

Explore the ruins of the ancient Inca civilization and get a firsthand experience of their art, celebrations and traditions. See the glorious Machu Picchu, and be surround yourself with natural beauty throughout a vibrant, festive vacation through Peru.

 

ITINERARY

 

DAY 1

Kick off your vacation by swimming with playful sea lions off San Lorenzo Island. After lunch experience historical Lima - even go underground to explore spooky catacombs! Enjoy a welcome dinner at a popular local restaurant.

DAY 2

Fly to Cusco and hop on a private coach for a scenic drive to the Sacred Valley. Visit a local school to play games with students and learn how to weave colorful Peruvian jewelry. This evening, you’ll meet a local shaman who will bless your journey and share spiritual insights and ancient beliefs about Machu Picchu.

DAY 3

Hit the trail for a horseback ride through the countryside or take a rafting trip on a river. Enjoy a BBQ lunch followed by a show starring the smooth-gaited Paso horses. Later, discover the meanings of ancient Peruvian cultural markings at a renowned pottery studio before you create your own ceramic masterpiece. Enjoy dinner in your hotel’s 17th-century colonial hacienda.

DAY 4

Learn the myths and mysteries of Machu Picchu during your rail journey to Aguas Calientes and the Lost City of the Incas. Spend the afternoon exploring one of the new seven wonders of the world with expert guides before turning in to your whitewashed pueblo-style bungalow for the evening.

DAY 5

Take a nature walk to see native orchids and herbs, head to Aguas Calientes to explore the colorful local market of arts and crafts, or attend a private presentation to learn about Peru’s almost extinct spectacled bears.

DAY 6

Wake up in Cusco to the awe-inspiring Incan stone fortresses, the “House of the Sun”, which were built more than five centuries ago. Participate in a hands-on chocolate making class at the Choco Museo, then learn how to distinguish an alpaca and a llama at the Awanacancha farm. You’ll have a personal Peruvian pan flute lesson at tonight’s dinner - and even take one home as a memento of your Peruvian vacation!

AFRICAN SAFARI

Take in Africa’s beautiful people, cultures, and landscapes on the vacation of a lifetime. Experience the thrill of seeing exotic animals in their natural habitats. Make lifelong memories as you watch the sun rise and set from the porch of your luxurious lodge in one of the world’s most beautiful places. 

 

ITINERARY

 

DAY 1

Marvel at the African savannah all around you as you explore the famous Tarangire National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive via open-top safari vehicles to scout for big cats and elephants.

 

DAY 2

Greet the animals in Silale Swamp with an early morning game drive. Return to your lodge for lunch and create Maasai crafts before heading back out into the bush to create more shared lifetime memories. This evening, learn some Swahili around the campfire after dinner.

 

DAY 3 

Today you’ll visit the Ngorongoro Conservation area. On your way there, you’ll visit an active bird-watching spot, meet students at a local school, and explore a traditional hut village which preserves traditional Maasai customs. 

 

DAY 4 

Look for the Big Five - elephants, leopards, buffalo, lions and rare black rhinos - in the “Garden of Eden”, Africa’s ancient Ngorongoro Crater. A unique lunch on the floor of the crater offers a rare opportunity to spot lions, cheetahs, hippos and lots of indigenous birds.

 

DAY 5

Today you’ll see the spot where anthropologists found the fossilized remains of one of the first humans to walk upright! You’ll visit a museum in the Oldupai Gorge in the Great Rift Valley, home to some of Earth’s earliest people. Arrive this evening at your home for the next several nights - the luxurious Four Seasons Safari Lodge in the heart of the Serengeti National Park.

 

DAY 6 

Take a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon over the savannah and open woodlands of the Serengeti, home to herds of grazing animals and carnivores. Have a relaxing champagne breakfast in the bush, followed by a morning game drive to look for hyenas, zebras, elephants, leopards, buffalo herds, giraffes and more. Before dinner, you’ll have an opportunity to take a relaxing nature walk with your lodge’s Discovery Center’s Maasai staff.

 

DAY 7

The last day of your amazing African vacation concludes with a flight back to Arusha, lunch at the Cultural Heritage Center, and a guided tour of a local coffee plantation. Since your flight leaves later tonight, we reserved a day for you at a relaxing lodge so that you can share memories and recount stories before your ride to the airport arrives.

SOUTHERN ITALY

Explore the area’s most historical landmarks and learn major history and little-known tidbits from a seasoned local guide. Travel in style like a celebrity in a jet boat and convertible car between the Napoli and Amalfi coasts. Visit some of the area’s most famous sites in private after-hours tours. Make dinner with your family using olive oil and cheese after touring a local authentic farm.

 

ITINERARY

 

DAY 1

You’ll be treated like royalty at your hotel overlooking the Villa Borghese park. Visit a few of Rome’s hot spots today - the Circus Maximus, the Caracalla Baths, Piazza Venezia and go inside the Colosseum for a guided tour before a welcome reception and dinner.

 

DAY  2 

Start your day at Gladiator School for a fun lesson in ancient Roman history as well as how to fight like a gladiator. Learn the secret language of early Christian symbols by exploring the Catacombs of St. Callixtus. Explore more or relax - tonight is an exclusive guided visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel after hours. Take your time taking it all in with no crowds!

 

DAY 3 

Today you’ll visit St. Peter’s Basilica & St. Peter’s Square. Tour the Pantheon, Piazza Navona & the Fountain of the Four Rivers and the Trevi Fountain...turn your back on the fountain and throw three coins over your left shoulder and you’ll be certain to return to Rome!

 

DAY 4

Travel through the Italian countryside via a high-speed train. You’ll experience Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. Visit an authentic family farm to see how cheese and olive oil are made, then use that olive oil as a professional chef demonstrates how to make your own pizza for dinner. Afterwards, dance off some calories as you learn the toe-tapping Tarantella!

 

DAY 5

Travel like a celebrity on a high-speed jet boat across the Gulf of Naples to the gorgeous Isle of Capri. Ride in style in a private convertible along the cliffs of the road to Anacapri. A chairlift will take you up to the highest point of the island to see the beautiful Gulf and town below.

 

DAY 6

You’ll love today’s adventurous drive along the Amalfi Coast! Walk around Positano - the cool little cliff-side town, before boarding a private boat to Amalfi to view the famous Amalfi Coast.
